Marcel van der Lugt Makes a Shopworn Angel Jacket
I made a copy of an A2 leather flight jacket as one that might have been worn by Cornelius Vanderlugt. Besides the jacket itself, all other items in it are made by me. On the front you see 18 bombs symbolizing the 18 missions he flew. On the left side you see a clipped aerial gunner wing, a leather name tag with Vanderlugt on it and the squadron patch of the 495th Bomb Squadron.
On the back of the jacket I have painted the name of the plane and the nose art as it was painted on the plain.
Hope you’ll like it.
Best regards,
Marcel van der Lugt
